FAQ
Straight answers before you book.
Pricing, route days, recycling carts, cancellation, and what we actually do to the bin.
How often should bins be cleaned in Florida?
Every 4 weeks is the sweet spot for most Pinellas homes. Heat and humidity rebuild odor fast, especially if you grill, have pets, or the cart sits in full sun. A one-time deep clean resets a neglected bin. Monthly service keeps it from sliding back.
What does the service include?
A curbside deep clean of wheeled trash and recycling carts: high-pressure wash inside and out, a disinfectant step, and a deodorizing treatment. We hit the lid, rim, body, and wheels. Stuck-on grime, sludge, and the film that feeds smell and pests are the target.
What are the prices, and is there a contract?
One-time: 1 can $20, 2 cans $35, 3 cans $45. Monthly, no commitment: 1 can $15, 2 cans $25, 3 cans $35. The first month of any monthly plan is $5 off, so those first visits are $10, $20, and $30. Four or more cans, HOA streets, and commercial cart routes are custom quoted.
Do you clean recycling bins too?
Yes. Recycling carts count the same as trash carts. Juice, yard scraps, and mystery liquids smell just as bad. Tell us the total number of cans, trash and recycle combined.
How does scheduling work?
You book a day and a half-day window, morning or afternoon, not a clock time. Arrival depends on the route that day. Carts need to be at the curb by 7:00 a.m. You do not need to be home. Sunday is closed. A full day is shown as full and cannot be booked. We confirm by text and email when those are connected.
What about water runoff and the products you use?
We use a controlled pressure wash, a disinfectant made for outdoor carts, and a deodorizer. Runoff is aimed toward landscaping or the gutter the street already uses. We do not leave standing sludge in the can. Ask for a lighter-fragrance option if pets rest near the bins. We do not claim a special eco certification — if you need a specific product, say so when you book.
Where do you serve?
Home base is Seminole. Regular routes cover Largo, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Pinellas Park, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, Palm Harbor, Gulfport, and nearby Pinellas neighborhoods. If you are just outside that list, send the ZIP and we will give you a straight yes or no.
Can I cancel a monthly plan?
Yes. There is no contract and no cancellation fee. Skip or cancel before your next route day and you will not be billed for that visit.
How should I prepare the bins?
Leave them empty at the curb, wheels accessible, nothing stacked on the lids. Bagged trash waiting for a later pickup can stay nearby — we clean the empty carts. Move any car that blocks them. Bring pets inside for the few minutes the washer is running.
When will I notice the difference?
The same day. Smell and visible grime drop as soon as we finish. In a Florida summer a neglected can can turn again within a few weeks, which is why monthly routes exist. A typical stop for up to three cans is about 10–15 minutes.
Do I need to be home?
No. This is curbside service. Gate codes, side-yard notes, or “carts are past the oak tree” go in the booking form.
Is it safe around kids and pets?
Product stays on the carts and is rinsed. Keep kids and pets away from the work area while we are there. Carts are ready to use again when we leave. Pressure washing can reveal cracks that were already in old plastic — we will not force a broken cart, and we will tell you if one should be replaced.
